Pasig QR Code Registration: How to Register using Pasig Pass

Pasig QR Code is a component of Pasig City's contact tracing solution, the Pasig Pass (PasigPass). Find out how to register here.

(UPDATED 12/03/2022) Since November 17, 2020, the City Government of Pasig has mandated the use of the Pasig Pass in all city establishments via Ordinance No. 49, Series of 2020, also known as the Pasig Pass Ordinance.

Pasig City still uses the Pasig Pass as their premiere contact tracing system as of February 2022.

People will no longer have to fill out health declaration forms or logbooks if they utilize the Pasig Pass. They will merely need to present their Pasig Pass QR codes and have them scanned while accessing businesses and establishments within the City.

According to the Pasig LGU, the QR code generated by the Pasig Pass is not only limited to people with mobile phones but can also be printed. Some barangays have taken the initiative to help their constituents register for Pasig Pass. Therefore individuals without internet access or mobile phones can ask for their assistance to obtain a QR Code.

What is the purpose of Pasig Pass?

Pasig Pass (or PasigPass) is Pasig City's QR Code-based COVID-19 contact tracking system, which is an integral element of the Pasig Health Monitor. It is a webbased solution that allows individuals to log their basic personal information upon registration.

Once the registration is complete, the individuals will be given a unique Pasig Pass generated QR Code, which they can save on their smartphone or print for a physical copy.

When a registered establishment scans a unique Pasig Pass QR code, their personal information is transmitted immediately to Pasig City Health Monitor for more effective contact tracing of persons who may have been in contact with a COVID-19 positive individual.

Individuals and businesses in Pasig can register for the Pasig Pass web portal at https://pasigpass.pasigcity.gov.ph/ to support the city's contact tracing efforts.

What is Pasig QR Code?

The Pasig Pass QR Code is a machine-readable matrix barcode generated via the Pasig Pass web portal. It retains the registered individual's information and can be scanned with a QR scanner or a smartphone with a built-in camera.

Since the LGU enacted a "NO PASIG PASS QR Code, NO ENTRY" policy, it is needed upon admission to business establishments in Pasig City under the Pasig Pass Ordinance.

Aside from Pasig City, the QR Code generated by the Pasig Pass can be utilized in Mandaluyong, Valenzuela, Antipolo, and Taytay.  These local governments have banded together to form a unified contact tracing network to aid in the fight against the COVID-19 disease.

How can the Pasig Pass QR code be used for contact tracing?

After scanning the OR code, the data on where people went is sent directly to the Pasig Pass dashboard, which is linked to the Pasig Health Monitor.

If someone tests positive for COVID-19, it will be easier to determine who they may have come into contact with the places they have visited. When close contacts are identified, they will be tested immediately and, if necessary, isolated to prevent the virus from spreading further.
