How to Track Philippine National ID Delivery Status this 2024?

(UPDATED) For those who have already completed the steps necessary to obtain a Philippine National ID, also known as PhilSys ID or PhilID but are unsure of its delivery or processing status, there is a way to track it.

Individuals only need to look at the transaction slip because it contains the transaction number required to track the delivery status of their PhilID. The transaction number is 29 digits long and can be used to track the status of the PhilID through the Philippine Post (PHLPost) Tracker.

To track your Philippine National ID, simply go to and enter the transaction number found on your transaction slip.

What is the Philippine National ID (PhilID/Philsys ID)?

The Philippine National ID (PhilID) is the national identification system of the Philippines enacted through Republic Act No. 11055, or the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). The PhilID, also known as the National ID, serves as a valid proof of identity and must be accepted in all transactions.

How do I get a PhilID?

It's simple to obtain a PhilID, especially now that PhilSys has satellite offices in several regions where people can walk in and register and apply for a PhilID. They can, however, register online for the first step in their application. You can follow the three-step process below:

Step 1 – Register online at

The online registration portal at will collect demographic information before an individual proceed to Step 2 of National ID Registration. When registering online, the following information will be required:

  • Name;
  • Gender;
  • Date of birth;
  • Place of birth;
  • Blood type; and
  • Address.

Other information required is marital status, cell phone number, and email address. After entering the required information, you can schedule an appointment for Step 2.

Step 2 – On the day of your appointment, go to your designated registration center.

Once you arrive at the registration center, your biometric information, such as your fingerprint, iris scan, and front-facing photograph, will be processed, and the supporting documents will be validated.

This step will occur at the registration center you chose during Step 1. Remember to bring your transaction number with you for this step.

Step 3 – Wait for your National ID or PhilID card to arrive.

Once your National ID is available, PHLPost will deliver your PhilID to your home. Remember that your PhilID contains personal information and should not be shared on social media.

How to get a PhilID transaction number for tracking?

Simply check the transaction slip you received from the registration center to obtain the PhilID transaction number for tracking in PHLPost. It is found under the name and is a 29-digit number. This number will be used to determine the status of your National ID in the PHLPost tracker.

Your transaction slip is vital in ensuring that the PhilID is delivered to the correct registrant. On the day of delivery, it must be presented alongside any valid ID. If you cannot obtain your PhilID in person, simply leave an authorization letter and a photocopy of your valid ID with the designated recipient.

Note: To ensure the safety and security of your personal information, PSA strongly advises individuals to BE CAREFUL NOT TO LOSE their transaction slip and AVOID POSTING IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

How can I track the status of my Philsys ID or National ID card?

You can easily track your National ID by going to and entering your transaction number. Once you've entered the transaction number, you'll be able to see the status of your National ID delivery.

You may also follow the steps below:

Step 1 – Check your transaction slip and get your transaction number.

You can check the transaction number on the slip provided to you following your Step 2 registration at the PhilSys center. The transaction number will serve as your tracking number and comprises twenty-nine (29) digits or more. (You may check the image above for details).

Step 2 – Go to PHLPost Tracker at and enter the transaction number.

Once you have the tracking number, you may open your browser and navigate to You will immediately see the tracker on the landing page, where you need to enter the tracking number.

Enter the tracking number from the transaction slip into the PHLPost tracker and click the "track" button. 

Step 3 – Check the status of your National ID delivery.

After you enter the tracking/transaction number, your National ID or PhilID delivery status will be displayed. If the most recent event was "Not Found," it means that your ID is still being processed. You'll have to wait for it to be processed.

What to do if my transaction slip is lost?

On the day of delivery, if you have misplaced your transaction slip, you can still claim your National ID by presenting government-issued valid IDs (except for Barangay Clearance).

How do I know if my National ID card is ready?

If your National ID has already been processed, it will reflect on the PHLPost tracker after entering your tracking number. Simply go to and enter your tracking number to see the most recent status of your National ID.

If the last event is marked as "In Transit," it means that it is already available and on its way to your registered address.

How long will National ID be delivered?

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) estimates that the National ID/PhilID card will be delivered to one's chosen address six months after completing Step 2 Registration. However, because millions of Filipinos applied for a PhilID after it was launched in 2021, it usually takes more than six months to receive your PhilID.

Where can I follow up on the issuance of my Philippine National ID?

To follow up on the issuance of your Philippine National ID (PhilID), you can contact the PhilSys Registry Office by calling the hotline number 1388 or sending an email to However, in most cases, you will need to track it on the PHLPost tracker using your transaction number in order to determine if it has already been dispatched for delivery.

Is the National ID's delivery free of charge?

It will be delivered to your specified address for free by PHLPost. So, after completing Step 2 registration, you must wait for PHLPost to deliver the National ID to the address you provided.

How to claim the National ID?

When it is ready, it will be delivered to you or the barangay hall where you live. Prepare and present your transaction slip, as well as a valid ID or Barangay Certificate, to claim your National ID. Your authorized representative can also accept it; simply present the necessary documentation.

Note: PHLPost will attempt three times to deliver the PhillD. If the registrant or authorized representative does not receive it, the National ID will remain t the Designated Post Office and can be claimed within 30 calendar days by presenting the transaction slip and a valid ID Barangay Certificate as proof.

After 30 calendar days, PHLPost will transport the Phil ID to one of the PhilSys Registration Centers or the PSA Provincial Office. The registrant can obtain his PhilID by presenting the transaction slip, a valid ID, or a Barangay Certificate as proof.

How long is a National ID valid once it is issued?

National IDs issued to Filipino citizens never expire. It can be replaced only if your demographic and biometric data have been updated or if it is defective. Meanwhile, resident aliens' National IDs are only valid for one (1) year.

How do I know if my National ID is ready?

As stated above, individuals who have completed all of the steps for obtaining a national ID must go to the website, enter the transaction number found on the transaction slip, and then click the "Track" button.

According to PSA, if there is no result in the PHLPost tracking, it means your National ID is still being processed.
