How to Pay SSS Contributions Online via GCash in the SSS Mobile App

Individually paying SSS members, such as voluntary and self-employed members, can now pay their contributions online using GCash in the SSS mobile app, which is great news.

Using GCash in the enhanced SSS Mobile App to pay your monthly or quarterly contributions is now easier. Simply ensure that you download the most recent version of the SSS app or update the current version on your mobile device.

You can generate your Payment Reference Number (PRN), download it, and use it to pay your contributions in a matter of seconds. There is no need for you to leave your house to pay at an SSS branch, no need for bank transactions, and no need to wait for your payment to be posted.

How to download the SSS mobile app?

Users who have previously downloaded the SSS Mobile App must download the updated version in order to pay with GCash, as follows:

For Android and iOS users:

To get the latest version of the application, go to the Play Store/App Store, search for the SSS Mobile App, and then tap the Update button.

For Huawei users:

To get the most recent version of the SSS Mobile App, go to Huawei AppGallery, search for it, and then tap the Update button.

Note: If the Update button is not available in the Play Store/App Store/Huawei AppGallery, uninstall the SSS Mobile App and then install the most recent version available in the respective app store.

Can you pay SSS contribution using GCash?

Yes, the Social Security System (SSS) now allows multi-method on how to pay with GCash. It can be done through GCash's "Pay Bills" feature or through the SSS mobile app's in-app payment system.  SSS members must first have a Payment Reference Number (PRN) to pay using GCash.

How to Pay contributions via GCash in the SSS app?

You can now pay your contributions through GCash once you have downloaded or updated your SSS mobile app. Simply sign in with your account and generate a Payment Reference Number (PRN). After you've generated PRN, simply tap the "Pay" button and select "GCash" as a payment method.

You may also follow the steps below:

1. Open the app and enter your My.SSS User ID and Password and then click the "Sign In" button.


2. Tap "Generate PRN" to get a Payment Reference Number and continue the payment via SSS Mobile app.

 


3. After being redirected to the next page, click the "Create" button, followed by the "Generate" button.


4. Fill out all of the required fields, then click "Submit" and tap "Ok."



5. The Payment Reference Number (PRN) will be displayed. Members may download the PDF version by tapping the download icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. To view the PRN list, tap "Back."



6. To continue with the payment, tap the "Pay" button and then choose "GCash account" as the payment method.


7. Tap "Ok" then click the "Proceed" button to continue with the payment using GCash.


8. By tapping the dropdown button, the member can review the details of the contribution to be paid.

9. Tap the GCash logo on QR and e-Wallets, enter your GCash mobile number, and then tap "Next."


10. Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) that will be sent to your registered GCash mobile number. Then enter the 4-digit GCash MPIN. Click the "Next" button to continue.


11. On the next page, tap the "Pay" button to proceed with the GCash payment.


12. SSS Members can receive an e-receipt after a successful transaction by entering their email address or mobile number in the required field.
