P20M budget for dry market in Tacloban North already approved

TACLOBAN CITY — "P20M funding for the construction of the Dry Market in Tacloban North has already been approved."

This is the message Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez said to the people of Dream Ville during the induction of officers of the Dream Ville Home Owners Association (Dream Ville HOA) in Brgy. 93 Bagacay, early morning.

According to Mayor Romualdez, he pursued Senator Imee Marcos to help fund the new dry market to be constructed in Tacloban North as the said area in ​​the city continues to grow and needs more markets.

Romualdez added that Leyte 1st District Congressman Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and Tingog Partylist Rep. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez are assisting the City Government of Tacloban in allocating funds for projects in the city.

Hiraya Foundation President Raymund Romualdez also attended the occasion and said his foundation has projects to help marginalized residents in Brgy. 93 Bagacay.

Also present in the induction event, City Councilor Imee Delgado-Grafil, Chairman of the City Council's Committee on Housing, and Brgy. 95 Caibaan Chairman Abet Eviota announced plans to run as City Councilor in the 2022 elections.

Mayor Romualdez hopes that he will work with HOA officials to maintain peace in Dream Ville and resolve issues that deserve attention in the said area.
