TACLOBAN CITY — The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) of Tacloban City has quickly provided immediate assistance for the fire victims in Barangay 2, Jones St of the said city.
CSWDO imparted food packs, hygiene kits, cooking gears, used and new clothing, and sleeping girls to the 10 identified victims who are family members of Eduardo Balaga Manigo (73-years old) and Dino Carañagan Fernandez (42-years old).

According to Ms. Corazon Binoya, In-charge of disaster response, their office has prepared a recommendation report for the families to receive financial assistance from the LGU and NHA.
As soon as the CSWDO learned about the fire which happened on February 15, 2021, at around 1:00 PM, the office OIC Ms. Chona Bahin immediately sent her staff to the place to conduct an assessment and investigation.
