TACLOBAN CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Eastern Visayas (DSWD-8) has provided emergency support to families affected by a recent fire incident in Calbayog City, Samar. The blaze, last April 18, 2023, ravaged several homes in Barangay Carmen and Obrero, leaving many families homeless.

In response to the disaster, DSWD-8 swiftly mobilized its resources to provide immediate aid to the affected families.
