How to get eArrival Card for travelling to the Philippines?

eArrival Card replaces the One Health Pass system in the Philippines. It will be used by international travelers upon entry to the country.

(UPDATED) Starting November 1, 2022, all inbound travelers arriving in the Philippines prior to departure from their country of origin will be required to present an electronic Arrival Card (eArrival Card).

It will replace the One Health Pass (OHP) system by the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) to facilitate the scan-and-go system and streamline arrival requirements for travelers. Travelers entering the Philippines must register at onehealthpass.com.ph for an eArrival Card.

Travelers will be issued a unique QR code after filling out the registration form for their travel details, personal information, health declaration, and vaccination details on said portal. They must then take a screenshot of the QR code on their mobile or computer device and present it to the airline representative upon departure and the BOQ office upon arrival in the Philippines.

The national government's introduction of the eArrival Card aims to provide Filipino and foreign travelers arriving in the Philippines with a more convenient and stress-free experience.

What is eArrival Card?

eArrival Card Sample.

eARRIVAL CARD is an online health declaration and contact tracing system that aims to facilitate the movement of international travelers from the country of origin to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of destination.

Prior to the implementation of the new eArrival Card, travelers must register for "One Health Pass (OHP)" a few days in advance and complete the electronic Health Declaration Checklist (eHDC) on the day of departure. Compared to the previous OHP system, the eArrival Card eliminates unnecessary information fields, making traveler registration more accessible and faster to complete.

All foreign/Filipino travelers (including infants and children) must register for the eArrival Card before their flight into the Philippines.

What are the requirements for entering the Philippines?

Individual registration to the eARRIVAL Card platform is required, as is proof of eArrival Card registration upon checking or boarding and upon arrival in the Philippines.

According to IATF Resolution No. 168, effective May 30, 2022, and the updated BOQ Advisory on the "Entry, Quarantine, and Testing Requirements for Arriving Filipino Passengers" dated September 23, 2022, all international travelers bound for the Philippines may no longer be required to undergo facility-based quarantine and may be exempt from presenting a Pre-departure COVID-19 Negative Test Result (RT-PCR/Antigen Test).

You may also check the updated entry guidelines here on the One Health Pass portal.

Requirements for eArrival Card

The following are needed to be able to fill out the registration form on the online platform of One Health Pass to be able to get an eArrival Card:

  • Travel/Flight details
  • Passport Number
  • Vaccination Information (vaccine name, vaccination date, etc.)
  • Copy of Negative Test Result (for those who don't have a booster shot)
  • Philippine Address

Note: For fully vaccinated individuals or those who are able to receive two doses, there is no quarantine, but you need pre-departure testing. Meanwhile, for fully vaccinated individuals with a booster shot, there is no testing and quarantine required.

Who needs to register for an eArrival Card?

Before flying into the Philippines, all foreign and Filipino travelers (including infants and children) must register for an eArrival card. This means that regardless of vaccination status or port of entry, this is required for all passengers arriving at any airport in the country.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the eArrival Card:

You may go to the One Health Pass portal for other FAQs. In the meantime, you may check the frequently asked questions about the eArrival Card and answers below:

Can I register for an eArrival Card upon arrival in the Philippines?

No, you must do this prior to your flight or arrival in the Philippines. Why? Because your check-in staff at the counter on the day of your flight will request proof of eArrival Card registration in the form of a barcode or QR code.

This is a non-negotiable requirement, which is why you must register.

Do I have to pay to register for an eArrival card?

According to DOH, registration for an eArrival Card is free of charge. That's why you should watch out for fake, deceitful, or scam websites and entities that want you to pay to sign up.

Do I need to download an application to get an eArrival Card?

No, an eArrival Card can be acquired through mobile phones and other devices that can connect to the web. To get an eArrival card, all you need is a smartphone, laptop, tablet or tablet, or desktop computer. If there's an app presenting as a platform to get an eArrival Card, it's probably a fake since the only way to get it is through the One Health Pass portal.

Is it possible to register a few days before the flight?

Yes. You must register within three days (or 72 hours) of your arrival in the Philippines. Prior to flight boarding, travelers must show proof of valid eArrival Card registration. It is important that your most recent declaration of health condition is made within 72 hours of your arrival.

In what circumstances will I be subjected to facility-based quarantine?

You must be quarantined if you have not been fully immunized against COVID-19. This is also true for those who are fully vaccinated but received their last dose within 14 days of their trip to the Philippines.

Those who are partially vaccinated against COVID-19, have signs or symptoms of COVID-19, or are a minor accompanied by non-vaccinated parents or guardians must be quarantined. (You can find the complete set of entry requirements to the Philippines here.)
