The Office of Vice President Sara Duterte has opened satellite offices across the country to assist people living outside of Metro Manila, particularly those in remote areas, in gaining more accessible access to social services.

Reynold Munsayac, Vice Presidential Spokesperson and lawyer, stated that OVP satellite offices have already opened in Dagupan, Cebu, Tacloban, Zamboanga, Davao, and Tandag in Surigao del Sur.

The satellite offices opened on July 1, the first day of Vice President Duterte's administration. These offices are open to the public Monday through Friday during business hours.

Munsayac stated that the satellite offices are part of the vice president's "sincere efforts" to bring the OVP closer to the people.

"These satellite offices were opened to help individuals access help and to respond more quickly in times of disaster," Munsayac explained.

People who want to see the Vice President in person would no longer need to travel to NCR with the establishment of satellite offices. The managers assigned to these satellite offices may be able to assist the public.

The satellite offices were not established by region but were strategically chosen for their location. Their proximity to other areas or islands is an important consideration. Once the first six areas are fully operational, additional offices will be added.

Michael Angelo Sotto Saavedra has been appointed manager for Zamboanga, Ma. Constancia Corominas - Lim for Cebu, Regina Generose Tecson for Davao, Alan Tanjuakio for Tacloban, Rolmar F. Basalan for Surigao, and Marc Brian C. Lim for Dagupan, according to OVP satellite offices. —iTacloban
