How to load GCash wallet?

To add money to your GCash wallet, simply select one of the available options. If you are a verified GCash user with a Bank of the Philippines account, you may follow the steps outlined in this article: "How to Transfer Money from BPI to GCash?"

However, if you do not have a BPI account or another form of mobile banking, you may visit a nearby partner GCash store. You may follow the steps below:

1. Launch your GCash app and click Cash-In

To load your GCash wallet, open the GCash app and log in to your account. Simply enter your registered mobile number followed by your MPIN to access your account. To proceed, click the Cash-In button on the app's home screen.

2. Find the nearest partner store that loads GCash

When you click the "Cash-In" button, you will be given three options for funding your Gcash wallet. If you haven't been verified yet or don't have an online banking account, use the Over-the-counter method.

You can check the nearest partner store in your area by clicking "View nearby partners." You can also check the nearest branch near you by selecting a store from the Over-the-counter category.

3. Go to the nearest store and ask the cashier about GCash load

Proceed to your preferred store and inform the cashier or person in charge that you wish to fund your GCash wallet.  Additionally, ensure that you have access to mobile data or internet connectivity, as you will require it for the next step.

4. Click on Generate Barcode and enter your desired amount

If your chosen partner store requires a barcode when adding funds to your Gcash wallet, click "Generate Barcode" and then enter the amount you wish to add to your Gcash wallet. Next, press the "Generate Code" button to get the barcode.

You may also check here for the list of the Over-The-Counter GCash partners that require a barcode when adding funds to your account.

5. Present the barcode to the cashier and click done

After you've generated a barcode, show it to the cashier or the person in charge so they can add money to your GCash wallet. When you have received the amount, click the "Done" button, followed by the "Ok" button to confirm the transaction.

Which GCash partner stores require the use of a barcode?
