Tacloban City to start vaccination for minors aged 12 to 17

TACLOBAN CITY —  Tacloban City to begin vaccination of minors aged 12-17, according to Tacloban City Health Officer Dra. Gloria Fabrigas. Children who do not have comorbidities only need to register on the website www.safecity.tacloban.gov.ph. Children with comorbidities must register at the District Health Center nearest to them.

Tacloban LGU reminds minors to bring their birth certificates on the day of vaccination. They can use their school record, baptismal certificate, or any other document that lists their parent or guardian's name if they don't have a birth certificate.

The accompanying parent or guardian must have a valid ID on the day of the vaccination. Minors with comorbidities must show proof of the most recent medical clearance from their pediatrician or attending physician.

Meanwhile, vaccination against COVID-19 will continue for Taclobanons aged 18 and up, according to the Tacloban City Health Office. —Tacloban News Update (Source: Tacloban-CIO)
