Several local government units (LGU) have launched a mobile vaccination clinic with the help of UBE Express (Bert Lina Group of Companies) and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to support the National COVID-19 Vaccination Deployment program, which targets those from marginalized communities.

UBE Express mobile vaccination buses are currently deployed in Metro Manila (Navotas, Marikina, and Mandaluyong) and two cities in Metro Cebu (Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue). 

The said COVID-19 vaccination program of UBE Express and PRC started in Imus City,  Cavite, where Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) personnel received COVID-19 vaccine and were the first to obtain such services.

What is UBE Express?

UBE Express is a point-to-point transport system that provides shuttle services in several parts of the Philippines. Since the pandemic started, several shuttle buses of UBE Express have been converted into a mobile vaccine clinic where individuals, especially frontliners, can have their COVID-19 vaccination.

The mobile vaccine buses of UBE Express are not only limited to COVID-19 vaccination. It also provided vaccination drives for children to be protected against measles-rubella and polio. According to PRC, more than one million children have been inoculated through the UBE Express vaccine buses.

The buses are fully equipped with a cold-chain system, vaccine cabinet, and mobile refrigerator.


Where to avail services of UBE Express vaccine buses?

Currently, individuals from Imus City can register online to avail of services of the UBE Express vaccine buses. They can go to https://vaccine.ubeexpress.com/register and fill out the form for their registration. 

Since UBE Express complements the current vaccination roll-out in selected cities. Individuals may ask their LGUs if such services are available, especially in Metro Manila (Navotas, Marikina, and Mandaluyong) and Metro Cebu (Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue), where the mobile vaccine buses operate.


How to register for vaccination through UBE Express?

To register for your COVID-19 vaccination through UBE Express vaccine buses, you must go to
https://vaccine.ubeexpress.com/ and click on the "REGISTER NOW" button. Afterward, you will be redirected to a registration form which you need to fill out.

You  may also follow the easy and simple steps below:

1. Go to https://vaccine.ubeexpress.com/

Ensure that you have a stable internet connection once you go to the UBE Express vaccine portal to avoid errors in the registration process.

Individuals must proceed to https://vaccine.ubeexpress.com/ to register for their vaccination through UBE Express. The website is accessible on mobile and desktop devices. For Android users, it is advisable to use a Chrome browser, while iOs users must use the Safari browser.

Note: Online vaccination registration via UBE express may be limited only to Imus City residents. If applicable, you may check with your LGUs if registration to avail services of UBE Express vaccine bus is available.


2. Click on the "Register Now" button

You may also directly go to https://vaccine.ubeexpress.com/register to start the registration process.

Once you're able to go to the homepage of the UBE Express vaccine portal, you must click on the "REGISTER NOW" button. After that, you will be redirected to the immunization registration form, which you need to fill out.


3. Fill out the immunization registration form

After clicking the "REGISTER NOW" button, you will be redirected to a registration which you need to fill out. Make sure to put your accurate and factual information.

You will be now redirected to the online immunization registration form of UBE Express. You must fill it out and provide the following details:

  • Demographic information (Category, Category ID, category ID number, Philhealth No. and PWD number if applicable);
  • Basic information (full name, civil status, date of birth, email address, and contact number);
  • Residential information (complete address);
  • Employment information (employer details if applicable, employment status, profession, and etc.); and
  • Profile information (history of COVID-19 infection, pregnancy status if applicable, and etc.).


After you are done filling out the registration form, you must choose the vaccination area. There are three options, particularly: (1) drive-thru, (2) mobile vaccination clinic, and (3) fixed location.


4. Click on the "Register" button

You may now click on "Register" once you're done filling out the registration form.

Once you completed filling out the registration form, you must click on the "REGISTER" button to continue. You will receive an ID number either in the email or mobile number you registered. Once you receive it, save the generated ID number for future reference.


5. Get your ID number and check your schedule

Once you complete the registration process, you can now check your schedule. Just go back to the homepage of the UBE Express vaccine portal.

If you receive the generated ID number after completing the registration, go back to https://vaccine.ubeexpress.com/ to know your schedule. Just input your ID number or enter your full name and the confirmation key. 

Remember that this step-by-step guide on how to get vaccinated through UBE Express vaccine buses may only be applicable for Imus City residents. Individuals may check below the list of confirmed LGUs aside from Imus City, where UBE Express vaccine buses operate as of July 1, 2021:

What are the requirements for the UBE Express vaccine?

You only need to have an active mobile number and email address, but during registration for vaccination, you must provide at least one of the Valid IDs in the choices listed for the ID number. Aside from the IDs (as seen in the image below), if available, you must present a PhilHealth number and input it in the registration form.

How to generate UBE Express QR Code?

If you are a passenger or commuter and want to ride a UBE Express bus, you are required to register for a quick response (QR) code at https://p2p.ubeexpress.com/register_passenger before your trip. Just fill out the registration form, and once done, click on the "Request QR Code" button. Afterward, you will receive an email with your generated UBE Express QR Code.

Individuals who want to register for a QR Code will be redirected to the homepage of UBE Express after clicking the link above.

To generate a UBE Express QR Code, passengers may go to https://www.ubeexpress.com/ or https://p2p.ubeexpress.com/register_passenger. Said website is accessible through mobile or desktop devices. You may use the Chrome browser for Android users, while iOs users may use the Safari browser.

Note: You must register first for a QR Code first before your trip since the management of UBE Express implemented a "NO QR Code, No Ride" policy for commuters and passengers.


2. Click on the "Get QR Code" button

On the homepage, individuals must tap on "GET QR CODE" to continue their registration.

Once you are on the homepage of UBE Express' website, you must click on the "Get QR Code" button to start your registration process. A fill-out form will pop up where you need to input the required information asked.


3. Fill out the UBE Express QR Code form

After clicking the "GET QR CODE" button, a registration form will pop up where individuals must fill it out.

Individuals must fill out the "Passengers Request QR Code" form to ride a UBE Express bus. They must provide the following information: (1) full name, (2) email address, (3) contact number, and (4) complete address.


4. Click on the "Request QR Code" button

After filling out the form, individuals must check the box and click on the "REQUEST QR CODE" button.

To complete your registration, you must check the box stating that you allow UBE Express to use your personal data to fulfill the said service, and you understand that your personal information is protected by the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

After checking the box, click on the "Request QR Code" button to get your UBE Express QR Code.


5. Receive your UBE Express QR Code instantly

By this point, those who completed the registration process will receive their unique quick response (QR) code where they can use upon riding a UBE Express bus.

Finally, you will instantly receive your UBE Express QR Code after clicking the "Request QR Code button (Step 4). The QR code will also be sent to the email you registered. Make sure to save a copy of it and present it once you take a UBE Express bus.
