Shoplifter arrested in Robinsons North Tacloban, stolen items recovered

TACLOBAN CITY — A shoplifter was arrested on Thursday afternoon, July 1, 2021, at Tactics Water Gear Kiosk in Robinsons North Tacloban, Barangay 91, Abucay, Tacloban City.

The suspect was identified by Tacloban police as alias "Joel," 41 years old and a resident of Barangay 93, Bagacay, Tacloban City.

According to the police's initial investigation, an active Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel during his duty in the said mall heard a woman shouting for help.

The suspect was then arrested and turned over to Tacloban City Police Station 2 - Abucay.

Stolen items were recovered from the suspect's possession.
