Civil Service Commision Region 8 announced resumption of computerized exam

ADVISORY —  The Civil Service Commission Regional Office VIII is pleased to inform the public that the Computerized Examination or COMEX will resume soon.

The COMEX will be conducted on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays every week at the Civil Service Commission Regional Office VIII in Palo, Leyte. The CSCRO8 can accommodate a maximum of 12 examinees per exam schedule. Professional level will be conducted every first 3 weeks of the month and Sub-Professional level at the last week of the month.

(Note: Sub Prof schedule may be changed to Professional if there are no applicants for Sub Prof.) Because of the limited slots, prioritization for CSC COMEX applicants are the following:

a. Agency requests;
b. Individual government employees including those under job order (JO) and contract of Service (CoS); and
c. Private individuals/general public.

We advise agencies (through agency HRMOs) to send their requests to cscro8comex@gmail.com along with a list of the employees with no eligibilities (JOs and CoS).

The private sector and the general public can also email their requests to the same email address and will be accommodated on a first come first served basis depending on the availability of slots. The CSCRO8 is scheduling agency requests on Tuesdays and Thursdays and for the private sector and the general public on Fridays.

To avail of the COMEX, it is mandatory to create a COMEX user account first before requesting an exam schedule so we can manage and process your COMEX applications.
