TACLOBAN CITY - A police officer was caught in the act of kindness while treating a stray kid who asked him for a meal on a known fast-food chain in Tacloban.

In a Facebook post by anchorman Gil Aniceto Tamayo, he said:

According to him, while some Highway Patrol Group - 8 (RHGP8) personnel were busy managing the traffic yesterday afternoon, November 23, on Rizal Avenue, a boy approached Pssg Enrique Cua Jr., Member of HPG-8, and held his hand then said that he was hungry.

Then the child pointed him into a food chain and said that he wanted to eat there because he didn't have the opportunity to eat there yet.

Pssg. Enrique Cua Jr./HPG-8 did not hesitate to bring the child to eat at McDonald's. He didn't only buy him food, but also he bought toys as a gift for him for Christmas. iTacloban
