New multi-purpose building in Tacloban completed by TCDEO

TACLOBAN CITY – The Tacloban City District Engineering Office (TCDEO) has recently accomplished the construction of a Php 5-million multi-purpose building in Barangay 85 San Jose, Tacloban City. Funded through the General Appropriations Act of 2023, the project's completion on July 10, 2023, marks a significant stride towards improving local infrastructure.

Envisioned as a versatile hub for the community, the two-story building, featuring a roof deck, demonstrates TCDEO's dedication to augmenting Tacloban City's facilities. This undertaking reflects the commitment to cater to the various needs of the Local Government Unit and the San Jose residents.

The newly inaugurated multi-purpose building holds the potential to host an array of activities. The facility offers modern amenities, from meetings and workshops to social gatherings and civic events. 

Engr. John Nichole Bertulfo, the Project Engineer overseeing the construction, expressed his contentment, saying, "The construction of the multi-purpose building was a significant undertaking, and I am pleased to see the final result.
