TACLOBAN CITY – Smart Communications, in coordination with the City Government of Tacloban, has set up a Sim Registration Booth within the grounds of City Hall to assist clients with registering their SIM Cards. This move is part of the ongoing Business Renewal initiative and is in compliance with the recently implemented SIM Card Registration Law, or RA 11934.

The Sim Registration Booth is conveniently located at the entrance of the Kanhuraw Business Center, ensuring that clients and constituents can easily find and access it. The booth assists clients who are having difficulties registering their SIM cards, making the process smoother and more efficient.

Implementing the SIM Card Registration Law aims to promote security and prevent using unregistered SIM cards for illegal activities. This is an essential step in ensuring the safety and security of the general public.

Smart Communications has always been on the cutting edge of providing innovative and customer-focused services, and this move is no exception. The company is dedicated to making registering SIM cards as simple and convenient for its customers as possible.

Tacloban's city government is also playing an important role in this initiative, collaborating with Smart Communications to provide the best service possible to its constituents. The city is well-known for its dedication to innovation and development, and this collaboration demonstrates the city's ongoing efforts in this regard. —iTacloban (with reports from Tacloban Safe City)
