As part of their holiday celebrations, the Leyte Police Provincial Office held a gift-giving activity for children in Brgy. Zone 1, Capoocan, Leyte on December 16th.

The BBM Tigers Region 8, Rider Emergency Responder, Copoocan MPS, and local officials participated in the activity led by PLtCol Margarito A Salao, Deputy Provincial Director for Operations. Jollibee provided various toys and food to over 150 children in attendance.

The gift-giving event was part of the Philippine National Police's (PNP) MKK=K, or Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan, tungo sa Kaunlaran program, which aims to assist, guide, and protect the country's youth.

The PNP has long recognized the value of investing in youth and has implemented various programs to help them grow and develop. The MKK=K and Revitalized KASIMBAYANAN programs are just two examples of their efforts to give the next generation a better future.

The children and their families expressed gratitude for the gift-giving activity, and the PNP hopes to continue providing such support and assistance to the community in the future. The PNP also extends warm holiday greetings to everyone and wishes everyone a safe and joyous holiday season.
