The Marcos administration has decided to move forward with the implementation of a scan-and-go system in the country's airports, which will use Electronic Arrival Cards or eArrival cards. This will ensure incoming travelers have an easier time on their travels while protecting the general public from COVID-19.

Beginning on November 1 of this year, the Bureau of Quarantine will enforce the requirement that all inbound travelers arriving in the Philippines have an e-Arrival Card within seventy-two (72) hours of their departure from the country from which they originated.

Starting November 1, 2022, an eArrival Card will be required from all inbound travelers arriving in the Philippines...

Before their departure, travelers who will be arriving in the country are required to register for an electronic Arrival Card by visiting onehealthpass.ph or scanning the QR code displayed on the poster that was distributed by the Department of Health (DOH).

The Department of Health has issued the advisory at the same time that the Bureau of Quarantine is switching from the One Health Pass (OHP) to the eArrival Card to simplify the requirements for arriving travelers.

Travelers will have an easier time entering the Philippines thanks to the implementation of the eArrival Card, which does away with the needless information fields that were part of the OHP system previously in use.
