LandBank warned members of fake websites using Google Ads

The LandBank of the Philippines warned members of scammers using Google Ads on fake LANDBANK websites.

TACLOBAN CITY – The LandBank of the Philippines issued advisory warning members of scammers who are now using Google Ads to deceive them through the fake LANDBANK website they created.

These advertisements are intended to direct you to a phishing website in order to obtain your personal or financial information.

As a result, everyone should be wary of phishing websites masquerading as the official iAccess website. See the Google ads for the phishing sites below for our advice on how to avoid this type of scam.

Simply go to the official LANDBANK website (www.landbank.com) and use the URLs there for their digital banking channels, such as the official iAccess website, for your safety. You can also use the LANDBANK Mobile Banking App (MBA) for safer transactions.

LANDBank also advises users to immediately report phishing websites to their Customer Care Hotline: (02) 8-405-7000 or 1-800-10-405-7000 (PLDT Domestic Toll-Free Number) and Email: customercare@mail.landbank.com. —iTacloban
