TACLOBAN CITY - Malacañang announced on Thursday, March 31, 2022, that the City of Tacloban and other areas will remain under COVID-19 Alert Level 1 from April 1 to 15, 2022.
“The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Thursday, March 31, 2022, approved the April 1 to 15, 2022 Alert Level Classification of provinces, highly urbanized cities (HUCs), and independent component cities (ICCs),” acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar said.
Aside from Tacloban City, the following areas are on Alert Level 1:
Luzon
Cordillera Administrative Region: Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Baguio City, Lagawe, Lamut, Besao, Bontoc, Sagada
National Capital Region: Whole Metro Manila
Region I: Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Dagupan City
Region II: Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, City of Santiago, Quirino, Bambang (Nueva Vizcaya), Bayombong (Nueva Vizcaya)
