DSWD-8, LGU Malitbog distributed non-food relief items

TACLOBAN CITY – Non-Food Relief Items (NFIs) have been made available by the Department of Social Welfare and Development 8 (DSWD-8) for the people of Malitbog, Southern Leyte.

Each sleeping kit includes an empty mosquito net, mattress, blanket, and plastic mat, whereas the family kit includes an empty pair of underwear, shirt, t-shirt, shorts, and slippers.

As of January 20, DSWD had distributed 145,954 FFPs totaling P85,693,466.78. These FFPs were awarded to 19 municipalities in the province of Southern Leyte, ten municipalities in the province of Leyte, and one municipality in the province of Eastern Samar. Additionally, the agency distributed Non-Food Relief Items totaling P12,455,428.
