TACLOBAN CITY — As part of the 32nd National Statistics Month (NSM) celebration, the Philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistical Services Office VIII (PSA-RSSO8) announces the launch of the 1-Minute Stat Vlog Contest.
The goal of the video blog contest is to create a compelling one-minute story around the theme "NSM@32: Revving up for Economic and Social Recovery Through Evidence-Based Policies."
All entries will be used to promote the month-long celebration and the importance of statistics in the government's economic and social recovery plans and programs. This activity also aims to encourage NGAs, academia, and the private sector to support and participate in the 32nd NSM celebration in October 2021.
Except for PSA and NEDA, this competition is open to all NGAs, academia, and the private sector in Region 8. On or before October 15, 2021, at 5 p.m., contest entries must be emailed to psa8socd@gmail.com.
On October 18, 2021, these will be officially posted on the @PSAEVOfficial Facebook Page to determine the number of Facebook likes. On October 25, 2021, entries will be judged on relevance, originality/creativity, technical quality, and Facebook likes.
On October 28, 2021, at the 32nd NSM Virtual Closing Ceremony, the winners will be announced and awarded. The following are the prizes up for grabs: P5,000 for first place, P3,000 for second place, and P1,000 for third place.
