Teenage girl in Kawayan, Biliran commits suicide



TACLOBAN CITY –  A week after a suicide incident in Culaba, Biliran, another case of alleged suicide occurred in a small village in the same province of Biliran, on Friday afternoon (December 4).

The incident happened in the municipality of Kawayan. According to a police report, an 18-year old teenage girl from Brgy. Poblacion, Kawayan allegedly ended her life at around five (5) o'clock in the afternoon.

Kawayan police said that they received a report on 9:15 pm in the evening about the incident wherein the victim was found hanging inside her room. It was also found out that she used a bedsheet as a rope to hang herself.

They added that the motive for the said incident is yet to be known as the investigation is still going on. iTacloban
