Pope Francis sympathized with all the Filipinos affected by the recent typhoons in the country.
In his tweet, the Pope said he includes all those affected in his prayers, and he sympathizes with the poor families and all those helping the victims of the onslaught of the typhoons.
"I am near in prayer to the dear people of the #Philippines who are suffering because of the destruction, and especially because of the flooding caused by a strong #typhoon," Francis said.
"I express my solidarity to the poorest families and those who are doing all they can to help them," he added.
According to the latest records of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Typhoon Ulysses killed at least 67 people. iTacloban
